Meet your Psychotherapist

My passion as a Registered Psychotherapist is working with you and hearing your story. I love holding space for my clients to discuss their emotions and watching them grow from thriving to surviving. I take pride in walking with you down whatever path you are on.

Drawing from both person-centred and humanistic perspectives. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and to lead the most fulfilling life you can, you must be a true self or yourself. Everyone has a unique way of seeing the world, which can impact your choices and actions.

Being vulnerable and sharing your innermost thoughts and feelings can be challenging, but I want you to know I am here to listen and understand. I will strive to demonstrate an empathetic understanding of your experiences and recognize your emotional experiences without judgment.

“I’m not perfect… But I’m enough.”

– Carl R. Rogers

Psychotherapy Services

Consultations

Consultations are an excellent way to get to know your therapist and determine if you feel comfortable working together. If you don’t feel comfortable, therapy won’t be as effective. So, bring your questions and concerns to see if we are a good fit.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a positive and professional way to address personal issues and improve mental, emotional, and behavioural health. It offers a safe and personalized space for individuals to explore their concerns and develop coping strategies, leading to greater self-awareness and self-acceptance.

Youth Therapy

Therapy can be a positive way to help teens develop self-awareness, self-esteem, and social and emotional skills. It can help them navigate and shift their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours healthily, make decisions, and reach goals that lead to a more fulfilling life. Therapy can help teens develop skills to thrive in school and beyond.

“We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”
